Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Waylon Records LLC ("Waylon Records," "we," "us") handles information when you visit www.waylonrecords.com. We keep this site simple on purpose: it has no accounts, no forms and no shopping cart.

Information you give us

This website does not ask you to enter any personal information. If you contact us through Instagram or another channel, we receive whatever you choose to send, such as your name, username, message and any music or links. We use it only to read and reply to you and to consider your music, and we don't sell it.

Hosting and information collected automatically

This site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. through Cloudflare Workers & Pages and Cloudflare's global network. When you visit, your browser connects to Cloudflare, which processes technical details needed to deliver the page and protect it from attacks and abuse, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. Cloudflare may process this information in data centers in the United States and other countries. Cloudflare acts as our service provider and handles this information under its own Privacy Policy.

Cookies and analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used and how quickly it loads. When a page loads, Cloudflare adds a small analytics script (a "beacon") that runs in your browser. It sends Cloudflare information about that page visit, such as the page viewed, the referring site, general browser and device type, and performance measurements like page load time and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare says the beacon does not use cookies or localStorage, does not track you over time by IP address, browser details or any other fingerprinting technique, and removes IP addresses before the data is stored. We see only aggregated reports, not information that identifies you. See Cloudflare's Web Analytics privacy overview. Browser extensions that block analytics scripts will stop the beacon without affecting the site.

This site does not set its own cookies, and we do not use advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking. To keep the site secure, Cloudflare may place strictly necessary security cookies in your browser, for example __cf_bm to tell people apart from automated bots, or cf_clearance after you pass a security check. These cookies are used only for security and site delivery, not for advertising or tracking you across other websites. Cloudflare describes them in its cookie documentation. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but if you block security cookies, some security checks may not work.

If we add any other analytics or tracking in the future, we will update this policy before it does.

Third-party services

Some parts of the site rely on outside services that receive information directly from your browser:

• Cloudflare. Hosts and delivers the site, provides security and provides our aggregate site analytics, as described above.
• Google Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details when a page loads. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• Streaming services and Instagram. When you click a link to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music or Instagram, you leave this site. Those services collect information under their own privacy policies, not ours.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above to run and secure the site, understand and fix technical problems, see in aggregate how the site is used, and respond when you contact us. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and material you send us only as long as we need them to reply or to consider your music, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Technical and security data processed by Cloudflare is kept according to Cloudflare's own retention practices.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We won't discriminate against you for making one. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.

Do Not Track

Because this site does not track visitors across other websites, it does not change its behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

Children

This site is meant for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
